"The hospitality, careful and courteous
service and delicious breakfasts will be remembered as key part of our daughter's (Erin)
wedding today. The warm and comfortable guest rooms will be remembered too.
Thank you for providing all the comforts and attention so that this
special occasion could blossom forth into the spectacular event that it was. Fondly

WEDDING PLANNING
Detailed wedding planning is necessary for
any wedding, large or small. Stay calm, make joint decisions with the groom and delegate
whenever possible. Stay organized. Set your wedding date far enough in advance to allow
time for proper planning and reserving the location for the ceremony, reception and
accommodations for wedding guests.
You
will have many details to attend to, such as writing announcements and creating the guest
list, but your first step is establishing a budget. This decision should be discussed with
your fiancé. Will it be a large ceremony or small and intimate? Formal or informal?
If you decide on a formal wedding more money will have to be budgeted on the location,
attire and wedding announcements. With an informal wedding you may want to have a larger
reception. Other decisions, such as the wedding cake, decorations, a band should all be
carefully considered. Saving money on one will allow you to be more extravagant in others.
Review your financial resources. Plan as far in advance as possible
so you, your parents or other family members can set aside money for the event. You may
want to set up a special savings account for this.
When setting the date, consult with your fiancé and family members. Have more than one
option just in case the location of the ceremony or reception are already booked for
another event. Choosing a venue
for your reception that also offers accommodations will save you headaches and worry. Wedding planners bring to the event
years of experience while offering professional options for decorations, photographers,
music and consultation on the myriad of other details that escape the attention of the
less experienced. This all-in-one approach insures one essential quality often missing --
coordination.
It's a good idea to have a special calendar to track everything and create a detailed list
of all expenses.
